President Obama honored 13 police officers who performed extraordinary acts of bravery. Each officer was awarded the Public Safety Officer Medal of Valor 🎖 These officers had gone through a range of situations: Some had suffered stab wounds or burn wounds. Others had defused tense hostage situations to protect members of their communities. They hailed
from large and small #police departments across the country, and the situations they experienced required a high amount of discipline, calm, concentration and more. "...if it had not been for their bravery, we likely would have lost a lot of people -- mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends and loved ones. They did it instinctively. This is an award that none of them sought. If they could go back in time, I suspect they’d prefer none of this had happened," Obama said. What's your take on this?
